State Novice Championship

Saturday 21st October saw 15 of our club members compete in the State Open Taekwondo Championships, our numbers were down at this event, as many were preparing for Gradings as well as the 1st Black Swan Inaugural Taekwondo Championships in November.

Never the less at the the end of the day, we once again walked away with our heads held high and proud with 11 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze.

Congratulations and well done to all the followings members.

Jason Rocca, Garrick Blinman, Dennis Rawlins, Chantelle Wallace, Cherie Russell, Kalis Vandiappan, Tiaana Di Cicco, Brandon Copper, Michael Rimbas, Hope Branden, Hayley Branden, Tyrell Blinman, Jessie Gatto, Lachlan Cooke and Brenden Cooke.

Win or loose you did your best out there and the Academy is proud of you, special mentions to Jason Rocca and Garrick Blinman for outstanding performance against two good opponents, their timing and speed were so impessive that their opponents could only score 1 point on them.

Thanks also to all the parents and members that did not participate but came down to support the club.
